1. Introduction
1.1 Bolabet Company Limited (“Bolabet”) reserves the right to update, amend, edit, and supplement these terms and conditions at any time. We will notify you of any substantial amendments to these conditions before they take effect. Upon being notified of the changes to these rules, you will be required to accept them by indicating that you have read and understood the terms and conditions as published on our platform. If you do not agree with our amendments, you will not be permitted to continue using our services.
1.2 We reserve the right to withdraw any of our services or elements of our services at any time and will not be liable to you in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, for any loss or damage that you may suffer as a result.
1.3 These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Bolabet relating to the betting and gaming activities Bolabet provides. By accepting these terms and conditions, you confirm that you have not relied on any representations made by Bolabet or by employees of Bolabet, except as provided for in these terms and conditions. Bolabet will not be held liable for any misrepresentations that are not part of these terms and conditions, except in cases of fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation.
1.4 No waiver by Bolabet of any of these conditions will be construed as a waiver of any preceding or succeeding breach of any of these conditions.
1.5 Nothing in these conditions shall be construed as creating any agency, partnership, or any other form of joint enterprise between you and Bolabet.
1.6 All references in these rules to the singular shall include the plural, and vice versa. All references to “the” shall include “a/an” and vice versa.;
2. Account rules
2.1 Creation of a Bolabet Account
2.1.1 You cannot participate in the betting and gaming activities Bolabet offers unless you hold an account with Bolabet. To have an account and be registered as a player with Bolabet, you must register on our platform and provide us with the following information:
2.1.1.1 Your date of birth and valid identification document showing that you are over eighteen years old. Acceptable documents include a National Identification Card, Passport, or driver’s license;
2.1.1.2 Your first and last name – as it appears on your ID;
2.1.1.3 Your full residential address;
2.1.1.4 Your valid email address; and;
2.1.1.5 Your registered phone number, which will serve as your Username and cannot be changed, along with a password.
2.1.1.6 After completing all required fields and submitting the registration application on Bolabet’s platform, you will receive an SMS to your registered phone number. You will then be asked to confirm your registration by entering a verification code. Upon successful activation, your account will be active and ready, and you can start using Bolabet Account betting services.
2.1.2 By applying to become an account holder with Bolabet, you warrant and represent that you are over eighteen years old. Individuals under the age of eighteen are prohibited from registering as players with Bolabet and holding a Bolabet account. If Bolabet discovers that you are below the age of eighteen, we will immediately close your Bolabet account indefinitely, and all funds deposited to the account will be refunded to you.
2.1.3 We reserve the right to request additional proof of your age and perform additional checks to verify the information provided in terms of clause 2.1.1 above. Please note that your Bolabet account may be suspended until you provide satisfactory proof of your age. Additional documents must be sent via email to: support@bolabet.co.zm
2.1.4 You may only have one Bolabet account with us per person, family, household, address, telephone number, debit/credit account number, or shared computer. Users already registered are not allowed to register as new users under another name or with another email address. If we discover that you have more than one account with us, we will immediately close all your accounts, and all funds, including your initial deposit, if any, will be refunded to you.
2.1.5 Bolabet will prohibit you from participating in any of our betting or gaming activities if you are suspected of fraud or have breached these terms and conditions, particularly by simultaneously participating in multiple games and opening several Bolabet accounts. Any criminal or suspicious activities will be reported to the police. In such cases, we will refund you any monies in your betting account after deducting a handling charge of 10%, provided that this money was acquired lawfully. Any free bets or winnings resulting from free bets acquired fraudulently or illegally will be forfeited.
2.1.6 By applying to become an account holder with us, you further warrant and represent that:
2.1.6.1 You are a natural person (companies, cooperatives, societies, or unincorporated associations are prohibited from holding an account with Bolabet).
2.1.6.2 You are not employed by Bolabet. Any employee of Bolabet is prohibited from participating in any betting and gaming activities that we provide. Any amounts won by an employee of Bolabet will be forfeited at Bolabet’s discretion and the employee’s initial deposit will be refunded to them.
2.1.6.3 You are not a professional player of any sport, competition or league in which we offer betting and gaming activities.
2.1.6.4 You are not acting on behalf of a third party.
2.1.6.5 You are not depositing money with us that originated from criminal and/or other illegal activities.
2.1.6.6 You are not depositing money through a bank card which you are not authorized to use and/ or you are not utilizing a bank card in a jurisdiction in which betting and gaming is prohibited.
2.1.6.7 You will not directly or indirectly utilize your Bolabet account for any criminal activities.
2.1.6.8 All information provided to us during the term of this agreement is correct and complete, and you will notify us of any changes to such information within 7 days by sending an email to: support@bolabet.co.zm
2.1.6.9 You will not use our services if you are not a resident of Zambia. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of Bolabet’s platform and services is legal.
2.1.7 By applying for a Bolabet Account, you acknowledge and accept:.
2.1.7.1 To abide by these terms and conditions at all times.
2.1.7.2 All definitions and stipulations contained in these rules.
2.1.7.3 Not to attempt to hack our mobile services, platforms, or any other electronic platforms or to alter their code in any way to cheat, override, manipulate our system, or commit fraud or any other crime.
2.1.7.4 Not to mislead Bolabet by intentionally providing false information which may be in the form of, but not limited to invalid account details, forged documentation, concealing your identity, your actual location, or your age.
2.1.7.5 That at all times during the subsistence of your subscription/participation with Bolabet, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are not breaching any laws in Zambia when you open a Bolabet account with us or conduct business on any of our platforms.
2.1.7.6 That Bolabet will act as arbitrator on any dispute involving your use of our services and any other third party. However, should the dispute not be resolved to your satisfaction, you may lodge a complaint with the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Zambia.
2.1.7.7 That Bolabet reserves the right to exclude any users with false particulars from participating in the betting and gaming services we offer, and any winnings achieved by such users will be forfeited to Bolabet.
2.1.7.8 That Bolabet will not accept liability, in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, from any third party resulting from your provision of incorrect or false data.
2.1.7.9 That by participating in the betting services Bolabet offers, there is a risk that you may lose the money that you deposited into your Bolabet account, if you do not place a winning stake.
2.1.7.10 That the contractual relationship between you and Bolabet is governed by:
- these rules as published in English on our platform and at our Bolabet shops;
- any regulatory provisions or other decisions made from time to time by the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Zambia; and
- the laws of Zambia.
2.1.7.11 Bolabet manages players' accounts and calculates available funds, pending funds, betting funds, as well as your potential amount of winnings. Unless proven otherwise, these amounts are considered final and are not subject to dispute. We will inform you once corrections are made to your account balance.
2.1.8 You must keep your password secure at all times. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your password is kept secure. You should not share your login ID and password with anyone or send any of your details to us in any unencrypted form. Should you suspect that your login information is no longer secure, please contact us immediately and ensure that you change your password immediately. If at any time your account is accessed and used by a third party without your prior consent, we will not be liable for any consequences that may occur.
2.1.9 If you nominate another person as an authorized user of your Bolabet Account, you will be responsible for all transactions the person makes using your account details. Bolabet will not be held liable for any loss or damage that you may suffer as a result.
2.1.10 If you lose your Bolabet Account login ID and password or feel that someone may have your account details, please contact us immediately via phone, live chat or sending email to: support@bolabet.co.zm. Please note that we will not be responsible for any loss or damage that you may suffer as a result of transactions that may be made by the third party that has your Bolabet Account login ID and password.
3. Policy for accepting bets on sporting events
3.1 Bolabet reserves the right to cancel any bonus, jackpot and/or any prize you may have won, if we are of the view that you have fraudulently utilized our system. In such an instance, we will immediately restrict your access to your Bolabet account and any funds therein will be forfeited to us.
3.2 The values of the parameters (including handicaps, totals) and odds/prices/ betting rates of the events specified in the line of the current day may change after any bet, but conditions before bets will remain the same, except in cases of technical and obvious mistakes in the line.
3.3 The money placed on the result of any betting and gaming activities will be the amount confirmed and registered by us. In accepting to bet on events, you accept these terms and conditions in totality and all rights and liabilities which may be established under Zambian law.
3.4 You are the only person responsible for the bet you place. Once you have placed a bet and acceptance is confirmed, you cannot change it or cancel it. Please carefully check all the bets you make.
3.5 You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login ID and password. Loss of this information cannot be used as grounds for withdrawing bets or cancelling requests for payment of winnings. Additionally, Bolabet will not be held responsible for Withdrawal of Funds due to the unauthorized sharing of your Password with other people.
3.6 A bet is considered accepted once confirmed via notification in your Bolabet account. All accepted bets are visible in the “bet history” tab. Please note that there might be a delay before a bet appears in your bet history. In case of a dispute, the time the bet was registered in our system will be deemed the true submission time. If you don't receive a notification confirming the acceptance of your bet, it will still be considered accepted if it appears in the “bet history”.
3.7 A failure of communication or technical issues in customer communication does not warrant the cancellation of your bet if it has already been registered on our servers.

4. Payment methods
4.1 Bolabet does not levy any additional charges during the deposit process. Players may incur charges only from their banks, mobile money providers, or any other deposit methods directly related to their transactions and unrelated to Bolabet.
4.2 Customers may deposit funds into their online account via MTN or Airtel Mobile Money services. Deposited funds will be at player’s disposal after the payment is visible on his online account. The Organizer will not charge any additional compensation in the process of paying in the deposit from the player. Players may be charged only by their mobile money providers or any other way of depositing money which is in direct relation with the players transactions and it doesn’t have any relation with the Organizer.
4.3 If a player requests a payout after making a deposit, the request will be granted on the condition that the player has placed at least one bet per deposit. This requirement is implemented to prevent fraud and money laundering, as well as to stop the misuse of the platform as a banking service. Additionally, any accounts exhibiting frequent deposits and withdrawals with minimal or no betting activity will be suspended until the completion of KYC and fraud checks. The organiser reserves the right to permanently block any account found to be involved in fraudulent activities.
4.3.1 List of payment providers and their respective limits and fees:
4.3.1.1 MTN mobile money:
- Minimum deposit ZMW 1.00
- Maximum deposit per transaction ZMW 10,000.00
- Minimum withdrawal ZMW 2.00
- Maximum withdrawal per transaction ZMW 10,000.00
- Maximum withdrawal limit within a 24-hour period: ZMW 50,000,00.
- Please note: Any requests for withdrawals exceeding ZMW 50,000 within a 24-hour period will need to be processed via bank transfer. To process the withdrawal request, a copy of your NRC, a stamped bank account confirmation letter, and proof of address will be required.
4.3.1.2 AIRTEL mobile money:
- Minimum deposit ZMW 1.00
- Maximum deposit per transaction ZMW 10,000.00
- Minimum withdrawal ZMW 2.00
- Maximum withdrawal per transaction ZMW 10,000.00
- Maximum withdrawal limit within a 24-hour period: ZMW 50,000,00.
- Please note: Any requests for withdrawals exceeding ZMW 50,000 within a 24-hour period will need to be processed via bank transfer. To process the withdrawal request, a copy of your NRC, a stamped bank account confirmation letter, and proof of address will be required.
4.3.2 The Organizer reserves the right to limit or refuse any bet or deposit from a player at any time. All winnings will be automatically displayed in the player’s online account by the Organizer’s system, and no additional fees will be charged for processing payouts to the player's online account.
4.3.4 The Organizer reserves the right to correct any financial transaction related to payouts if the payment was made due to a technical error or incorrectly processed result. In such cases, the Organizer may withdraw the wrongly paid amount.
4.3.5 The Organizer reserves the right to correct any obvious errors at any time without prior notice. If a player uses funds mistakenly credited to their account for further betting, those bets will be considered invalid, regardless of any delay in identifying the error.
4.3.6 Account registration information is used solely for identity verification and compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
4.3.7 Accounts inactive for over one month may receive a notification urging action. Accounts inactive for over six months may be closed, with any remaining funds donated to charity. Matters not covered in this article are governed by other sections of these Rules.
4.3.8 All deposited funds are solely for participating in games of chance – betting and ticket purchases. If a player requests a withdrawal after depositing funds for games of chance, the request will be granted provided they have wagered the full amount of their previous deposits at least once. This measure is in place to prevent fraud and money laundering. Unfortunately, Bolabet cannot offer banking services free of charge.
4.3.9 If deposits to the account were made for purposes other than bets, casino, poker, virtual games, and financial betting (especially in cases of suspected fraudulent activity), the company reserves the right to cancel a deposit and recover all associated costs from the Account holder. Bolabet may suspend or close your account if we suspect that funds are being deposited without intent to place sports or gaming stakes. Such instances may also be reported to relevant authorities.
4.3.10 If it's discovered that a User has opened multiple accounts with Bolabet, Bolabet reserves the right to refuse payouts on these accounts (unless the User's assets have been legitimately transferred to Bolabet's account after payment of a fine equivalent to 10% of the total deposits).
4.3.11 In order to process the initial cash withdrawal from your Account, it is imperative that the Account holder provides valid identification, such as a passport or government-issued ID, ensuring it matches the details provided during registration. Additionally, proof of residential address may be required for verification purposes. These measures are in place to uphold regulatory standards and prevent unauthorized access to your account. Please ensure that the information provided is accurate and up-to-date to facilitate a smooth withdrawal process.
4.4 Minimum and Maximum Stake Per Bet
- Minimum stake per bet is ZMW 1.00
- Maximum stake per bet is ZMW 50,000.00
- Maximum winning amount that can be paid to the participant is ZMW 1,000,000.00
- Minimum amount that a participant can pay in for virtual games is ZMW 1.00
- Maximum amount that a participant can pay in for virtual games on one ticket varies by game type.
- Maximum winning amount that can be paid to the participant for virtual games varies by game type.
4.5 Understanding the Concept of "Account Balance" in Betting
4.5.1 The "account balance" represents the total sum of all the winnings accumulated by the participant in betting and is not predetermined.
4.5.2 The maximum account balance that a participant may have at any time is ZMW 2,000,000.00 If a customer reaches their account limit their account will be put on hold until the validity of the account KYC details and betting activity has been verified. The participant may not continue betting until the account balance has been reduced by way of withdrawal.
4.5.3 The maximum winnings one customer can achieve in a 30 day period is limited to ZMW 2,000,000.00 Any bets made by a participant who has exceeded the ZMW 2,000,000.00 monthly win limit will be allocated odd 1.00. The organiser reserves the right to withdraw access to betting services for the participant if the maximum 30 day winnings threshold has been reached.
5. Displaying data
5.1 Bolabet does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided, including data on live events.
5.2 While Bolabet strives for accuracy in displaying information on live events (such as game times and player statistics), please note that this information is for reference only, and we cannot be held responsible for any errors.
5.3 Bolabet is not liable for claims regarding the accuracy of translations of team names and player names from foreign languages.
5.4 If you place a bet on an event where more than one player/athlete shares the same surname and no unique identifier is provided, all bets will be refundable.
5.5 Bets on events where one or more entrants are incorrectly indicated in the line (excluding translation errors) will be void, and the stake refunded. Bolabet reserves the right to determine events falling into this category.
5.6 If specific team details are missing from the line, resulting in the selection of the wrong team or an incomplete name, bets on that match will be refundable. In cases of grammatical errors or incomplete names, bets remain valid. If the gender of teams is unspecified, it will be assumed to be male unless clearly stated otherwise. Bets on matches with unspecified gender will be refundable unless otherwise indicated.
5.7 The date and time in the line indicate the cutoff for bet acceptance for the event (excluding live events) and may differ from the actual event start time. The official start time is determined based on documents from the organizing body and Bolabet's data.
5.8 In cases where the venue is not specified in the line, the first team named in the fixture is considered the host, except for American sports competitions. Please note that information provided under each sport's heading is supplementary, and any errors do not warrant bet refunds.
5.9 A set delay may apply to live event bet acceptance, determined solely by Bolabet for security reasons.
5.10 To accommodate the dynamic nature of live events where odds/prices/betting rates frequently change, you can choose to accept or reject changes. This decision determines whether the bet is accepted based on the prevailing odds/prices/betting rates at the time of arrangement.
6. Compliance with Zambian laws
Bolabet’s betting and gaming services are to be used solely for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. By engaging with our betting and gaming services, you agree to adhere to all relevant laws, statutes, and regulations governing the betting and gaming services we provide.
7. No warranty
7.1 Bolabet strives to offer our betting and gaming activities with due diligence and care. However, we make no further warranty or representation, whether express or implied, regarding the betting and gaming activities we provide.
7.2 Bolabet cannot guarantee that our betting and gaming activities will meet your specific requirements, or that they will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that our platform, www.bolabet.co.zm, or the server hosting our platform, is free from viruses or bugs, or that it functions with complete accuracy, reliability, or full functionality.
7.3 Bolabet is not liable for any system or communication errors resulting in the incorrect generation of random numbers, bet settlements, or other aspects of our betting and gaming activities. In such cases, we reserve the right to void all bets related to the affected draws.
8. Limitation of liability
8.1 Bolabet’s liability to you for any damages, regardless of the cause, including those arising from our negligence or that of our agents, servants, or subcontractors, shall be limited as follows:
8.1.2 Regarding your Bolabet account, our liability is limited to the credit balance of your account at the time the alleged damages occurred, after accounting for winnings, losses, and taxes.
8.2 Bolabet shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any loss of profits, winnings, potential profits or winnings, or any indirect or consequential damages suffered by the customer, whether caused by negligence on our part, our agents, or employees.
8.3 Insofar as any of Bolabet’s obligations under these terms and conditions are carried out by any of our servants, agents, sub-contractors or associates, these provisions shall apply mutatis mutandis and each of them shall be exempted accordingly.
8.4 Bolabet shall not be held liable if you are unable to place a bet due to the failure of any electronic communication media used for betting purposes.
8.5 Bolabet does not assume liability for input or transmission errors and reserves the right to correct obvious errors.
8.6 Bolabet does not guarantee or assume any liability for the correctness or completeness of any information provided.
8.7 Bolabet does not accept liability for the accuracy of live scores, statistics, and intermediate results in live betting.
8.8 Any acts of God, war, strike, lock-out or other labour dispute, fire, flood, explosion or any other supplies, failure of telecommunications, failure, theft or default of any computer hardware or software or any other equipment or any other similar or different cause beyond our reasonable control leading to the cessation and/ or restriction of our operations, shall entitle Bolabet to postpone our obligations to a customer in whole or in part, and in such event, Bolabet shall not be responsible for any damages of any nature that you may suffer, whether directly or indirectly as a result thereof and you shall not be entitled to terminate your contractual relationship with Bolabet, as a result of any such occurrence.
8.9 Bolabet will not be responsible for any consequences resulting from major incidents such as any strike, terrorist activities, political crisis, war, natural catastrophe and saturation of telecommunications networks, cyber-attacks, hacking, etc., which could lead to a total or partial access reduction to it services, loss of data by itself or by other contracted independent service providers on whom we are wholly or partially reliant on to deliver our services to you.
8.7 Bolabet does not accept liability for the accuracy of live scores, statistics, and intermediate results in live betting.
9. Indemnity
By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers harmless from and against all claims, liability, damage, loss, costs and expenses, including legal fees arising out of your breach of these conditions or any other liabilities that may arise from your use of our services or use by any other person accessing our betting and gaming activities using your Bolabet account.
10. Intellectual property
10.1 By agreeing to these rules, you acknowledge and accept the following:
10.1.1 All copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in all content provided by us remain vested in us or our licensors. You are only authorized to use this material as expressly permitted by us or our licensors.
10.1.2 All material and content within our services are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may download such material onto one computer for this purpose. Any other use of the material or content is strictly prohibited.
10.1.3 You may not copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit, tamper with, or create derivative works of our content.
10.1.4 You are prohibited from using robotic software, web indexers, trackers, or any other automated programs when accessing the Bolabet website or products offered on it. Additionally, altering or removing copyright and trademark protection information from Bolabet's website or printed materials is strictly forbidden.
11. Termination
11.1 Bolabet reserves the right to terminate our relationship with you at any time at our discretion. Additionally, we may close or suspend your Bolabet account at any time and for any reason. We may close or suspend your account if:
11.1.1 We believe you have used our services, products, or platforms fraudulently, illegally, or improperly.
11.1.2 We suspect you have engaged in unfair practices, cheating, or taking unfair advantage of us or our customers.
11.1.3 We have reason to believe you are breaching any term of this agreement.
11.1.4 Technological failures occur.
11.1.5 Law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or courts request the closure of your Bolabet account.
11.1.6 Events mentioned in clauses 11.1.1 to 11.1.3 are likely to occur.
11.2 If Bolabet closes your Bolabet account for any of the reasons set out above, you will be liable for any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses that we incur or suffer (the “Claims”). You will indemnify and hold us harmless for any demand in respect of such Claims. We will also be entitled to withhold and/ or retain all amounts which would have been paid or payable to you (including any winnings and/ or bonus payments).
11.3 In addition, Bolabet will be entitled to withhold and/ or retain any and all amounts that you earned or received as a result of or in connection with your unauthorized use of our services, products or platform, including any activities which were not for an authorized purpose. If there are insufficient funds in your account, we will demand that you pay us the relevant outstanding amount on the bets that you placed.
11.4 If you can prove that you did not breach any provision of these terms and conditions, then any funds that were available in your Bolabet account will be returned to you, should your relationship with Bolabet have been terminated. Please note that at all times, any funds you deposited with us do not and will not accrue any interest. As such, any refunds made will not include any interest calculations.
12. Taxes
You will be liable for any taxes levied pursuant to Zambia’s applicable tax legislation prevailing at the material time or as may be assessed by the Zambia Revenue Authority. These taxes will either be withheld at source or paid out in accordance with the provisions of the law.
13. Transfer of betting account prohibited
Selling and/ or transferring and/ or acquiring of a Bolabet account from other players is prohibited. Any such action will lead to closure of your Bolabet account and refund of the funds in the account. We may in our sole discretion re-open your Bolabet account if there is sufficient proof to our satisfaction that the transfer of your Bolabet account was done in error.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with Zambian law and the High Court of Zambia shall have exclusive and original jurisdiction to determine any court process arising out of these terms and conditions.
15. Disputes and complaints procedure
15.1 If a customer has a complaint, details of the complaint should be emailed to us at support@bolabet.co.zm or hand delivered to any of our Bolabet betting shops marked for the attention of the General Manager.
15.2 We will endeavour to resolve complaints which have been reported to us promptly.
15.3 In case of any queries regarding any transaction, a customer may contact us at support@bolabet.co.zm or at any of our Bolabet betting shops setting out details of the query, which we will then review and provide a response within 7 days.
15.4 If a dispute arises between you and Bolabet in relation to our liability to pay alleged winnings to you and this dispute cannot be resolved between us, then the dispute may be referred to the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Zambia for resolution. In such an instance, we will inform you that the dispute will be referred to the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Zambia. We will refer the dispute to the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Zambia within 48 hours of informing you that the dispute is being referred to the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Zambia.
15.5 You may however of your own volition refer the dispute with us to the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Zambia for resolution. The Betting Control and Licensing Board of Zambia may investigate the matter and shall thereafter resolve the dispute and communicate the outcome to the parties.
15.6 If either you or Bolabet are not satisfied with the determination of the Betting Control and Licensing Board of Zambia, you may appeal to the Arbitration Court or High Court of Zambia for determination of the dispute arising out of these terms and conditions.
15.7 By accepting these terms and conditions, you acknowledge and accept that only the English version of these terms and conditions will be considered valid in any legal dispute that may arise.
